The beginning
My career started before I finished college. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I was already making money — freelancing in test automation under my brother's guidance. It was real work, real money, and it gave me something most students don't have: proof that I could figure things out on my own.
I used those earnings for something unexpected: a backpacking trip to Egypt. That trip changed me. I came back with a clearer sense of who I was and what I wanted to build.
Finding my direction
Back in India, I took an unpaid internship at BCC Marcom as an SEO intern — one month, no pay, just learning. That led to Alphabeta FX, a foreign exchange company, where I got my first proper marketing role. I graduated in March 2018 and spent the rest of that year working there while quietly building a plan.
The leap
In September 2018, I made the decision most people talk about but never take: I quit to start my own agency — Publicity Port.
The early days looked like every other agency launch. Reaching out to brands, pitching services, competing in a crowded market. Then the question hit me: "Why would anyone choose us?" I didn't have a good answer. So instead of trying to out-compete, I changed the game.
The pivot that changed everything
I discovered white-labelling — building an agency for agencies. Instead of competing with other agencies for brand clients, I would serve those agencies directly. Overnight, every competitor became a potential client.
Today Publicity Port manages $2M+ in monthly ad spend across 400+ clients — and runs at 95% automation using the exact same AI methodology I teach.
The AI chapter (now)
When AI exploded into the mainstream, I saw the same pattern I'd seen before. Business owners heard the buzz, felt the pressure, and had no idea where to start. The confusion was identical to the early days of digital marketing. I knew exactly how that story ends.
I decided to bridge that gap. Not by teaching theory, but by doing what I always do: getting inside a business and making things actually work.
